Marissa (Moseley) Lightsey was a 20-time All-American (third highest total in OBU women’s track) and a 12-time NAIA national champion to go along with a 2010 indoor team championship.

In 2008 and again in 2009, she won the indoor and outdoor 400 meters and indoor and outdoor 4x400 relays. In 2010 she won the outdoor 400, both 4x400 relays and the outdoor 4x100 relay.

Lightsey is originally from Choctaw and in 2020 was honored by the Yellow Jackets and the school as part of their Decades of Greatness. She won two individual state titles, seven individual regional titles and four individual conference championships.

She is currently the executive director of college and career readiness at the Oklahoma State Department of Education. She and her husband Travis have three children.
