Lopez was a 2011 First Team All-America selection after earning honorable mention status in 2010.

He was also a two-time All-Conference and All-Region selection.

Lopez wrote his name into legend status with a walk-off home run in the 2011 NAIA Opening Round regional championship against Biola.

He had 15 home runs and 84 hits in 2011 and ranks No. 4 in single season home runs (26), No. 5 in career batting (.413) and also is in the OBU top 20 with 134 runs, 127 RBI and 158 hits.
