Parra is one of the all-time great pitchers in Bison history and is a first ballot hall-of-famer. He appeared in the second-most games (66), has the most wins (38), most innings pitched (348.1) and second-most strikeouts (317) in program history. 

During the 2016 season, he was named the Great American Conference’s Pitcher of the Year and All-GAC First Team selection. 

A season later, he earned another All-GAC First Team nod while also garnering D2CCA All-Region accolades. Additionally, he was a two-time NCCAA All-America selection.

He is married to Edily and the couple lives in Shawnee. Jinny currently works as the catering director for OBU for Chartwells Compass Group.
