Autumn Avina and
Victoria Blankenship were selected by the Great American Conference women's basketball coaches to the league's all-conference teams.
Avina, a senior guard from Austin, Texas was one of 10 players across the 12-team league to be selected to either the five-person first and second teams. She was voted to the second team.
Avina led the team in scoring for much of the year before finishing six points behind teammate
Victoria Blankenship. Avina averaged 15.6 points per game while Blankenship was tops at 15.8 ppg.
Avina was second in the nation in assists with 221 and was voted the GAC Player of the Week after recording a triple-double in points, rebounds and assists against Ouachita Baptist.
Blankenship, a junior from North Carolina, was named to the honorable mention team. She finished second in the league in rebounding at 8.1 per game and had more double-doubles (10) than anyone in the league.
