ALVA, Okla. – Cold shooting and early offensive droughts proved costly on Thursday night as Oklahoma Baptist fell 59–38 to Northwestern Oklahoma State inside Percefull Fieldhouse. The Bison drop to 13–14 overall and 9–12 in GAC play.
OBU never found its rhythm offensively, scoring just six points in the first quarter and shooting 26.5% for the game. Northwestern controlled the early tempo, taking a 9–6 lead after one and stretching the advantage to 23–15 by halftime. The Rangers' second‑chance opportunities were a major factor, as they collected 16 second‑chance points off 11 offensive rebounds.
Senior
Brenna Butler led the Bison with 11 points and five rebounds, going 4-of-8 from the field and adding two steals.
Jaedyn Getman contributed 10 points, a team‑high six rebounds, and five assists, battling through heavy defensive attention in the paint.
Jordyn Anderson finished with five points, three assists, and three rebounds, while
Sydney Duncan added three points, three rebounds, and two steals in 30 minutes.

Brianna Jones, and
Kate Wiginton each provided bench scoring to help stabilize stretches of the offense.
As a team, OBU went 2-for-20 from three, generating just 12 points in the paint and four second-chance points. The Bison committed 15 turnovers, which Northwestern converted into 12 points.
Northwestern was led by Kira Bass, who posted a 22-point, 10-rebound performance, and
Catyn Graham, who added 10 points including a pair of threes. The Rangers pulled away in the fourth quarter with a 21-point outburst to seal the win.
