SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist senior forward
Jaedyn Getman was named to the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) Women's Basketball All-Central Region Team on Thursday.
Getman earned placement on the second team. She's the first all-region performer in OBU's D2 history.
In her final season on Bison Hill, the 6-foot-2 native of Stratford, Okla., registered another outstanding campaign for OBU.
She was the second-best scorer in the Great American Conference, averaging 19.9 points per game, and she ranked third in rebounding (8.6). Getman compiled 12 double-doubles as well, which was slotted No. 2 in the conference and top-25 nationally.
In 25 of 28 games played, Getman scored at least 10 points. One of those, the season opener against Northeastern State on Nov. 14, she tallied the third-highest single-game total (45 points) in OBU history. She also scored at least 20 in 12 other contests.
Also of note, Getman had the eighth-best field goal percentage (46.8) in the GAC and ranked 12th in free throw percentage (81.3).
