GREENWOOD, Ind. – The Oklahoma Baptist women's basketball team saw four of its student-athletes earn College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honors on Tuesday.
That group included
Jaedyn Getman (Nursing),
Brenna Butler (Biology Pre-Med),
Sydney Duncan (Exercise Science) and
Katelyn Davis (Exercise Science).
For Getman, she's now a two-time honoree while the others garnered their first award. Plus, with Getman's on-court playing credentials, she advanced to the national ballot for Academic All-American. That will be voted on in the next week.
To earn status on the CSC's academic squad, a student-athlete had to have possessed at least a 3.50 grade point average, been of sophomore standing and play or start in nearly all the team's games.
For OBU, the team's four honorees in 2026 are a program-record. Plus, it marks the fourth straight season that multiple Bison qualified for CSC academic honors.
