Bison Set to Compete at Natural State Classic

SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist men's golf will compete in the Natural State Classic, hosted by Harding, Monday and Tuesday at Red Apple Inn and Country Club in Heber Springs, Arkansas.
 
In the most recent tournament for the team, the Bison finished eighth in a tightly packed field at The Patriot Classic on April 2-3. OBU was just eight strokes behind St. Mary's in fourth place.
 
Davis Farnell finished with the low total on the team, tying for 12^th place at eight-over 224 (76, 71, 77). Dalton Rhoden was tied for 23^rd with a 227 (76, 76, 75) total.
 
Mason Nutt finished tied for 30^th at 229 (78, 75, 76), Dakota Clark shot 233 (83, 72, 78) to end up tied for 42^nd and Hudson Hoover tied for 47^th place at 235 (78, 77, 80).
 
The Natural State Classic marks the final tune-up of the season prior to the Great American Conference Championship in Hot Springs, Arkansas, from April 22-24.
