HOT SPRINGS, Ark. – The Oklahoma Baptist men's golf team opened the 2021 Great American Conference Championship Tournament on Monday and currently sit in a tie for seventh. The Bison carded a two-round total of 612 (+36), matching with Arkansas Monticello. Arkansas Tech currently leads the field after posting a day one total of 572 (-4).Â

Payton Posada finds himself in the top 10, carding a two-round total of 146 (+2). He finished the first round with an even score of 72. He had three bogeys and three birdies in the first round. Posada then put up three other birdies in the second round to finish with a score of 74 (+2). He currently sits in a four-way tie for eighth with Mitchell Ford of Henderson State, Josh McNutty of Henderson State, and Carson Garner of Arkansas Monticello.Â

Posada is also in a tie for third in Par 5s with a score of -4. He holds a Par 5 average of 4.50.Â
