Perdew Named All-GAC Second Team

SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist's Kyle Perdew was named to the All-Great American Conference Men's Golf Second Team Saturday night at the annual awards banquet in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
 
Perdew, a senior from Yukon, Oklahoma, has three top-five finishes this year and has finished in the top-15 in six tournaments. His low round of the year, a four-under par 67, came at Lincoln Park West in the U.C. Ferguson Classic.
 
Dalton Rhoden was named a Crafton Tull Distinguished Scholar Athlete. Rhoden is a junior transfer from Fort Gibson, Oklahoma, and was also named All-GAC Honorable Mention after playing just one semester at OBU. He won his first collegiate tournament at the OBU Spring Invite earlier this spring after carding a five-under 66 in the final round.
