Tournament Notes

SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist men's golf returns to action Monday to host the OBU Spring Invite at the Shawnee Country Club.
 
In the last five tournaments the Bison have hosted, they have finished no worse than fifth and picked up two victories. The Bison have one win this spring, at the TMU Spring Invitational on Feb. 28.
 
OBU will look to bounce back from a difficult outing at the DBU Patriot Classic last week, where they were led by junior Dalton Rhoden with a T38 finish. Kyle Perdew and Hudson Hoover tied for 57^th place, and Mason Nutt finished 85^th.
 
Lucas Coapman withdrew in the second round of the three-round tournament with an injury after posting an even par 72 to open.
 
Shane Black, Ryan Epperly, and Luke Garner are also expected to play. Garner will be making his sixth appearance of the year and first of the spring. It will be the fourth tournament of the year for both Black and Epperly.
 
Participants will play 36 holes Monday and finish with 18 holes Tuesday.
 
This will be the final tune up for the Bison before the Great American Conference Championship, beginning April 23.
