Four Lady Bison Named Scholar-Athletes

SHAWNEE – Four women's basketball players were named National Christian College Athletic Association Scholar-Athletes, the NCCAA office announced Monday.
 
Senior Kathryn Sild and juniors Katy Custer, Tasha Edge, and Lexi Williams were each honored for their academic achievements this season.
 
Sild is an exercise science major from Sherman, Texas. Custer hails from Dickson, Oklahoma, and majors in psychology: pre-counseling. A native of Aurora, Colorado, Edge is an elementary education major. Williams is a secondary education major, and her hometown is Inola, Oklahoma.
 
To qualify as a scholar-athlete, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.4 GPA on a 4.0 scale, and be classified as a junior or senior.
