Bison Start Season in California

Tournament Notes

SHAWNEE – The men's golf team starts their spring season Monday at the TMU Spring Invitational, hosted by The Master's University in Santa Clarita, California.
 
Oklahoma Baptist will face a difficult field that features several top NCAA Division II teams as well as some Division I competition. All 54 holes will be played at Robinson Ranch Golf Club, with 36 holes Monday and the final 18 on Tuesday.
 
Kyle Perdew begins his final semester on Bison Hill looking to continue a successful senior season. Perdew had two top-five finishes in the fall portion of the Bison schedule.
 
Sophomore Hudson Hoover is coming off back-to-back fourth place finishes to wrap up the first semester.
 
Freshmen Mason Nutt and Lucas Coapman compiled three top-10 finishes between them last semester, including a win by Coapman at the GAC Preview in September.
 
Two junior transfers are also expected to make a start for the Bison. Luke Garner had a pair of top-10 finishes in the fall, and Dalton Rhoden will make his Bison debut.
