Bo Overton has announced the Bison's schedule for the 2026-27 season.
OBU is slated to play 28 regular-season games, including 12 at Noble Complex, 15 road contests, and one neutral-site matchup. The schedule features three teams that advanced to the NCAA Division II Tournament last season in Fort Hays State, Harding and Northwestern Oklahoma State.
The Bison open the regular season Nov. 9 at Cameron before traveling to Tahlequah for the GAC-MIAA Challenge on Nov. 13-14. OBU will face Rogers State on Nov. 13 and host school Northeastern State on Nov. 14.
OBU's home opener is set for Nov. 17 against UT Dallas before the Bison close out non-conference play with road games at Oklahoma Christian (Nov. 21) and Fort Hays State (Nov. 24).
Great American Conference play begins Dec. 3 at home against Southern Nazarene. The Bison's host defending GAC Tournament champion Northwestern Oklahoma State on Dec. 5.
The remainder of the schedule consists exclusively of conference competition, including a Jan. 7 trip to defending GAC regular-season champion Harding.
OBU concludes the regular season Feb. 27 at Southwestern Oklahoma State. Information regarding the 2026-27 Great American Conference Tournament will be announced at a later date.
The Bison will also play a pair of exhibition contests, hosting Oklahoma City on Oct. 28 before traveling to Tulsa on Dec. 2.
