Getman Earns GAC’s Weekly Award

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – Oklahoma Baptist women's basketball player Jaedyn Getman was voted as the Great American Conference's Offensive Player of the Week on Monday.

For the senior forward from Stratford, Okla., it is her second career honor.

In two games last week against Arkansas Tech and No. 17 Harding, Getman poured in 63 points, including 34 versus ATU, shot 56.3 percent and pulled down 14 rebounds.

The premiere player in the conference also made all six of her free throws and made 33.3 percent from downtown.

How good has Getman been this year? She's the GAC leader and ranks sixth in the nation with a 21.6 scoring average. Getman is also first in the conference and fourth nationally in free throw percentage (92.2). Plus, her six double-doubles are No. 1 in the GAC and a top-25 NCAA mark.
