RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Great American Conference announced its 2024-25 All-GAC Women's Basketball Team on Wednesday and Oklahoma Baptist's
Mackenzie Crusoe and
Jaedyn Getman were honored.
With the help of these two, OBU earned a 20-8 regular-season record and earned the No. 3 seed for the upcoming GAC Tournament.
For Crusoe, she's now a four-time All-GAC honoree. After being a second-team selection at East Central three times, the Choctaw, Okla., native was voted to the top team this season.
During the regular season, she ranked third in the GAC with a 17.1 scoring average, second in free throw percentage (85.0), sixth in assists (3.2) and third in steals (2.0). She also checked in at No. 18 in field goal percentage (41.1).
Among her season bests, she scored at least 20 points in 11 games including a season-high 27 against Henderson State on Feb. 21. Crusoe also notched multiple steals in 16 games with a season-high seven at Northwestern Oklahoma State on Feb. 15.
Getman, a junior from Stratford, is now a three-time all-conference performer. She earned placement on the second team this year. After missing the first few non-conference games, Getman returned to play in all 22 conference contests.
She was 20th in scoring (10.1), 19th in field goal percentage (41.0), and seventh in three-point percentage (41.5) which was also a career-best. Plus, Getman made 88.1 percent (37-42) from the free throw line. She scored in double-figures 11 times including a season-high 20 at East Central on Dec. 14.
Of note, Getman became the school's 30th player all time to score 1,000 points after her 5-point effort against Henderson State on Jan. 18.
