FORT WORTH, Texas – Within a massive number of schools competing, the Oklahoma Baptist women's cross country team took 10
th place overall during Dallas Baptist's Old Glory Gallop on Saturday.
Adelaide Murphy was the Bison's top finisher, coming in 50th place with a time of 18:47.23.
Shayna Hendrix (18:55.86) and
Kieran Paxton (18:58.80) followed in 62nd and 64th place, respectively. OBU's fourth- and fifth-point scorers were
Emma York and
Trista Etheridge. York took 72nd (19:08.1) while Etheridge followed 10 spots later (19:13.71).
Simon Frazer won the overall team title while Midwestern State earned second.
The Bison women will return to action in two weeks (Oct. 25) when they compete in the Great American Conference Championship from Monticello, Ark.
