RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – Oklahoma Baptist guard
Mackenzie Crusoe was named the Great American Conference's Offensive Player of the Week on Tuesday.
She led the Bison to two wins over Ouachita and Henderson State and helped the team improve to 12-4 overall, matching last year's win total.
Over the course of two games, Crusoe averaged 21.5 points, shot 55.6 percent from the field, made 5-of-10 from downtown and made all eight of her free throws. She also pulled down 10 rebounds and dished out a team-high five assists.
This season, Crusoe is third in the GAC in scoring (16.9), fifth in free throw percentage (85.1) and seventh with 1.8 three-point makes per game. She's also fourth in assists per game (3.5) and sixth in steals (1.8).
Crusoe and the rest of the Bison return to action on Jan. 23 for a pivotal conference matchup at Southern Nazarene.
