Overton Releases 2024-25 Slate

2024-25 Season Tickets will become available soon.

SHAWNEE --  Seventy-three (73) days remain before the Oklahoma Baptist women's hoops program tips off another season, its 48th. This slate features 28 games with 12 contests coming inside the Noble Complex.

"Like last season's schedule, this one will test us again, especially early on," Head Coach Bo Overton said. "The GAC/MIAA Challenge in early November, plus the trip to San Antonio at the end of the month, will be real tests for our program. That said, I think our trip to Taiwan over the summer benefited our team and moved us into a path of playing well together," Overton added.

November 8th and 9th features games against Rogers State and Northeastern State in Claremore. Those contests will be quickly followed up with a Monday, Nov. 11 home opener against University of Texas at Dallas.

Over the rest of the month of November, OBU will be on the road against Midwestern State (Nov. 21), Texas A&M-Kingsville (29th) and St. Mary's (30th).

Five games in December follow, all of which are Great American Conference affairs. On the 5th and 7th, the Bison host Arkansas-Monticello and Southern Arkansas before another Dec. 12 home date with Southeastern Oklahoma State.

The year wraps up with two more road contests: Dec. 14 at East Central and the 19th at Southwestern Oklahoma State.

In January, the Bison will be at home for four games while the other four contests come away from Shawnee. Those home dates include Northwestern Oklahoma State (Jan. 4), Ouachita (16th), Henderson State (18th), and SWOSU (25th).

As for the road contests that month, the green and gold visit Arkansas Tech and Harding on Jan. 9 and 11, respectively, while playing Southern Nazarene on the 23rd and SAU on the 30th.

In February, the Bison tip off that month with a trip to Arkansas-Monticello before returning home for three straight. On Feb. 6, Harding will be in town followed two days later with Arkansas Tech. Then on Feb. 13, SNU enters the Noble Complex.

A key stretch for the team follows. Four consecutive games on the road begins the 15th at Northwestern. The following week, OBU goes to Henderson State (20th) and Ouachita (22nd) before wrapping up with Southeastern (27th). The Bison's final regular-season game takes place March 1 with East Central at home.

Should the Bison qualify for the GAC Tournament, that takes place in Fort Smith, Ark., on March 6-9.
