SHAWNEE – Bison Women's Basketball was picked third in the Preseason Coaches Poll, tying with Southwestern Oklahoma Baptist in poll rankings.
In the 2023-2024 season, the green and gold finished with a 12-17 overall record and a 9-13 total in conference play.
The 2024-2025 campaign marks the second consecutive season the Bison were picked to finish third.
Senior,
Jaedyn Getman ended the season second in conference scoring 17.5 points per game. Getman also earned All-GAC First Team honors after leading the league in free-throw percentage.
OBU Women's Basketball welcomes four newcomers and 11 returners in the '24-'25 season. With three freshman, four sophomores, three juniors, and four seniors, the green and gold are comprised of five Texas natives and 10 Oklahoma natives.
Bison Women's Basketball will open up the season at home on Nov. 1 against Nelson University for a 7 p.m. exhibition.
