SHAWNEE – Payten Conde, a player that's made an impact all over the court for Academy High School in Little River, Texas, is another Bison basketball freshman that will make her way to campus in August.
Just look at these numbers: 1,389 career points, 727 rebounds, 291 steals and 452 assists.
The 5-foot-10 guard had numerous achievements during her time at Academy. As a freshman, Conde was her district's newcomer of the year. A year later, she was voted as district defensive most valuable player. Then in her junior and senior seasons, was selected as district MVP.
On top of those honors, Conde was a Texas Girls Coaches Association (TGCA) and Texas Association of Basketball Coaches (TABC) All-State selection in 2023. Plus, she garnered selection to the first-ever Texas High School Coaches Association & Coaches Education Foundation's (THSCA) Class 3A Super Elite Team.
Furthermore, Conde was selected to Heart of Texas Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) Victory Bowl.
