WESTLAKE,
Ohio – A total of 56 Oklahoma Baptist student-athletes found their way onto the 2021-22 Division 2 Athletics Directors Association Academic Achievement Award list on Tuesday.
The awards, in its 15th year, is a program that recognizes the academic accomplishments of student-athletes at the D2 level. In total, 169 schools, including seven from the Great American Conference, were honored.
To qualify for the honor, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher; have completed a minimum of two years (four semesters) of college level work at a two-year and/or four-year institution; and have been an active member of an intercollegiate team during his/her last academic year.
