Bison Set For Savage Storm

SHAWNEE- Oklahoma Baptist returns to the Noble Complex on Thursday night for a 7 p.m. Great American Conference matchup against Southeastern Oklahoma State.

The Bison enter the contest with a 16-7 overall record and an 8-3 mark in GAC play, good for a tie for third in the league standings. Southeastern, meanwhile, is 7-16 and 2-9 in conference action.

Historically, OBU has dominated the series, holding a 19-3 all-time advantage over the Savage Storm. That includes a 10-1 record in the last 11 meetings and a sweep earlier this season in Durant.

Bison Notes

  • Rylee Unruh continues to lead the Bison attack, ranking fourth in the GAC with 3.12 kills per set.

  • Offensively, they average just 11.89 kills per set, eighth best in the conference. 
  • Defensively, Southeastern is third in digs per set (17.75) and 7th in blocks per set (1.81).
