Oklahoma Baptist University women's basketball coach
Bo Overton released his team's 2021-22 schedule on Wednesday. The campaign features 30 contests, including two exhibition match-ups against NCAA Division I opponents Texas A&M University and the University of Texas on Nov. 3 and 4, respectively.
After the trip to Texas, OBU will host an exhibition of its own on Nov. 8 against Southwestern Christian University at 7 p.m.
Regular season action begins the weekend of Nov. 12 and 13 in the GAC-MIAA Conference Challenge. On that Friday, the Bison will travel to Weatherford and face off against Pittsburgh State University. The following day, OBU will take on Washburn University.
A week later on Nov. 20, the Bison will welcome Northeastern State for their first regular-season home game.
Following a couple more non-conference games against Midwestern State and Cameron, the Bison will begin GAC play at Northwestern Oklahoma State on Dec. 2. The team's first conference home game will occur on Dec. 4 versus Southwestern Oklahoma State.
Over the remainder of the conference schedule, OBU will host 11 games at Noble Complex including a three-game home stand between Jan. 27 and Feb. 3 against Ouachita, Henderson State and Southern Nazarene.
The tail end of the schedule will see OBU play five of its final seven GAC games away from Noble. From Feb. 5-12, the Bison will visit Southwestern Oklahoma, Arkansas Tech and Harding. Oklahoma Baptist's final home games come against Arkansas-Monticello and Southern Arkansas on Feb. 17 and 19, respectively.
To close the regular season, the Bison visit Southeastern (Feb. 24) and East Central (Feb. 26).
