Bison 10th After First Round in Tennessee

OLD HICKORY, Tenn. – The Oklahoma Baptist men's golf team made the long drive to Old Hickory, Tennessee, to participate in the Music City Invitational. The Bison completed round one carding a team total of 298 (+10) at the Hermitage Golf Course, putting them in a three-way tie for 10th place. Northwood University leads the field after shooting a round one total of 287 (-1).
 
Dakota Clark, Payton Posada, and Cole Dibler all completed round one with matching scores of 74 (+2). Martin Gutierrez (+4) and Keaton Dickens (+5) rounded out the other finishes for the Bison on the opening 18.
 
Blain Turner, from tournament host Trevecca Nazarene, currently leads the individual field after a 5-under-par 67.
 
Monday's schedule second round was canceled due to wet course conditions. The Bison will close out the tournament with the final 18 holes on Tuesday, March 16, with group one teeing off at 8 a.m.
