HOT SPRINGS, Ark. – The Oklahoma Baptist men's golf team returned to action for its second tournament at the Battle of the Belt in Hot Springs, Arkansas, Monday. The Bison completed the first two rounds of play with a cumulative score of 616 (+40) and are currently sitting in a tie for sixth place.

In round one, the team shot a total of 312, but improved their score by eight strokes in the second round with a 304.

Dakota Clark led the day for the Bison finishing in a tie for sixth individually, carding a two-round total of 145 (+1). He is tied with Roman Timmerman of Southern Arkansas and Austin Gean of Arkansas Tech.

Keaton Dickens was the team's second finisher with a two-round total of 153 (+9). Dickens bounced back in a big way from an opening 83, shooting a two-under-par 70 in round two. He currently sits in a seven-way tie for 22
nd place overall.

Other finishes for the Bison include both
Cole Dibler and
Payton Posada with a 160 (+16). Martin Gutierrez and
Sebastian Vida round out the pack having shot 166 (+22).

Santiago De La Fuente of Arkansas Tech is the tournament's current individual leader, posting a two-round total of 135 (-9).

The Bison are set to close out the tournament on Tuesday, March 9, with group one teeing off at 9 a.m.
