OBU Announces Updated Attendance Policies

SHAWNEE – In response to the recent announcement by the Great American Conference regarding attendance at spring athletics events, OBU has instituted specific policies to provide for the safety of student-athletes, coaches, and fans on the Shawnee campus.
 
For indoor sports, specifically basketball and volleyball, a limited number of fans will be permitted to attend contests at the Noble Complex. Guests must be placed on a pass list by a student-athlete or coach.
 
Masks are required for entry and must be worn at all times inside the Noble Complex. Available seating will be arranged in accordance with state, local, and campus social distancing protocols.
 
No tickets will be available to visiting teams.
 
For outdoor sports, including baseball, softball, tennis, and soccer, specific procedures will be in place for each facility. Masks are required to be worn at all times, consistent with OBU policy, and fans are encouraged to allow for adequate social distancing in all seating areas.
