Bison Release 2020 Football Schedule

SHAWNEE – Fresh off its most successful season in team history since joining the NCAA Divison II ranks, Oklahoma Baptist has released its 2020 football schedule which includes dates of 11 games. OBU's slate is full of foes from the Great American Conference and features six home and five road contests, including an Oct. 31 Homecoming date.
 
Season ticket holders will receive 2020 renewal information in April. The deadline for season ticket renewals is June 1.

The Bison will host Southern Arkansas (Sept. 12), Southeastern Oklahoma State (Sept. 19), Arkansas Tech (Oct. 10), Ouachita Baptist (Oct. 22), Northwestern Oklahoma State (Oct. 31), and Southern Nazarene (Nov. 14). All games will be played inside Crain Family Stadium at the Hurt Complex on the school's Shawnee campus. This year's schedule also includes the first ever home Thursday night game against Ouachita.

OBU will travel for games at Henderson State (Sept. 3), East Central (Sept. 26), Harding (Oct. 3), Arkansas-Monticello (Oct. 17), and Southwestern Oklahoma State (Nov. 7).
 
In 2019, Oklahoma Baptist completed its most successful season since joining NCAA Division II at 7-4 under eighth year head coach Chris Jensen. The Bison have won 11 straight games over Oklahoma schools, and completed a second consecutive perfect record against its Oklahoma counterparts (5-0), including the final three contests of 2018.
