Men's Golf Closes Kentucky Wesleyan Invite

OWENSBORO, Ky. - The Oklahoma Baptist men's golf team shot a 303 on Monday afternoon in the final round of the Kentucky Wesleyan Fall Invitational for a two-round score of 603 to finish in 18th place.

Payton Posada led the Bison with a 74 (+2) for a two-round score of 145 (+1) while Dakota Clark followed that up with a 76 (+4) for a two-round score of 147 (+3). Brayden Ogle shot a 77 (+5) for a two-round score of 151 (+7) while Payne Moses rebounded nicely with a 76 (+4) for a two-round score of 160 (+16).

Central Missouri won the event with a two-round score of 552 followed by Maryville in second with a score of 558 and Lindenwood in third with a 561. Arkansas Tech was fourth with a 562 while Winona State and Central Oklahoma rounded out the top five with a 567.

OBU takes some time off and will return to the course on Monday, October 21 for the Jerry Hrnciar Invitational.
