MUSKOGEE, Okla. - The Oklahoma Baptist men's golf team shot a 296 (+12) for a three-round score of 890 (+38) to place tied for 14th during the final round of the NSU Men's Golf Classic at Muskogee Golf Club.
Junior
Dakota Clark led the Bison throughout the tournament, shooting a 74 (+2) on Tuesday for a three-round score of 218 (+2). The low-round of the day came from junior
Payton Posada, who carded a 68 (-4) including five birdies for a three-round score of 221 (+5).
Freshman
Brayden Ogle shot a 75 (+3) for a total score of 223 (+7) while freshman
Payne Moses added a 79 (+7) for a score of 232 (+16). Rounding out the scoring was sophomore
Cole Dibler as he finished with a three-round score of 233 (+17).
Central Missouri won the event with a three-round score of 837 (-15) while Arkansas Tech was second at 839 (-13). Rounding out the top five was Washburn in third at 843 (-9), Northeastern State in fourth at 849 (-3), and Southwestern Oklahoma State in fifth at 853 (+1).
OBU will be back in action in two weeks as they head to Owensboro, Ky. for the Kentucky Wesleyan Invitational beginning on Sunday, September 23.
