MUSKOGEE, Okla. - The Oklahoma Baptist men's golf team shot a pair of 297s (+13) on Monday morning for a two-round score of 594 (+26) to sit in 14th place after the first round of the NSU Men's Golf Classic.
Fresh off his first collegiate win a week ago, juniorÂ
Dakota Clark shot a 74 (+2) in round one before rebounding nicely for a 70 (-2) in round two including an eagle and two birdies for a two-round score of 144 (E). SophomoreÂ
Cole Dibler opened with a 71 (-1) before shooting a 74 (+2) later in the afternoon for a two-round score of 145 (+1).
JuniorÂ
Payton Posada shot a 75 (+3) and 78 (+6) while freshmanÂ
Payne Moses had a 77 (+5) and 76 (+4) as both had a two-round score of 153 (+9).
FreshmanÂ
Brayden Ogle shot a pair of 77s (+5) for a two-round score of 154 (+10) to round out the scoring for the Bison.
Arkansas Tech leads the pack after a team score of 556 (-12) while Central Missouri nips at their heels at 558 (-10). Washburn in third at 560 (-8) while Northeastern State in fourth at 561 (-7). Southwestern Oklahoma State rounds out the top five with a score of 565 (-3).
OBU returns to action tomorrow morning and will look to make up some ground among the leaderboard.
