OBU Leads GAC in Classroom Achievement

SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist led all conference schools with 62 student-athletes being named to the Great American Conference Academic All-Conference team, the GAC office announced Tuesday.
 
To be eligible for the GAC's Academic All-Conference team, student-athletes must be sophomore in standing both in the classroom and on the field with at least a 3.3 cumulative GPA, as well as complete one year in academic residence.
 
The Bison's women's golf and tennis teams led the way in their respective sports, while men's golf and women's track tied for the most All-Academic honorees.
 
A list of all the winter and spring GAC Academic All-Conference honorees by sport is listed below.
