Stuever Earns Second Honors from GAC

SHAWNEE - For the second time in three weeks, sophomore running back Tyler Stuever has been named Great American Conference Offensive Player of the Week after another terrific performance this time coming against rival Southern Nazarene on Saturday afternoon.

Stuever accounted for a school-record five touchdowns including four on the ground. He had his third straight 100 yard game as he had a career-high in carries with 24 to go with 145 yards on the ground. He caught two passes for 12 yards and the score. Stuever now has 11 touchdowns in his last three games and has a run of 40 yards or more in his last three contests.

It is Stuever's second time taking home the honor, earning it two weeks ago in the win over Northwestern Oklahoma State.

OBU went on to roll Southern Nazarene by the score of 52-27. With the win, Oklahoma Baptist completes their most successful season since joining NCAA Division II at 7-4, has now won 11 straight games over Oklahoma schools, has completed a second consecutive perfect record against its Oklahoma counterparts (5-0), and will now await for a potential bid to a bowl game early next week.
