SHAWNEE – A new school year is underway and the Bison stampeded their way out of the gate as several sports kicked off their 2019 seasons.

From the first night game for OBU football, to a program-best winning streak for Bison volleyball, to strong starts for soccer, golf, cross country and swim, there was plenty of action on Bison Hill in September.
