SHAWNEE -- Oklahoma Baptist is back in conference play hosting Ouachita Baptist Saturday, Jan. 5. Tipoff is set for 1 p.m. from Mabee Arena at the Noble Complex. Â "Buy-one, get-one" tickets will be available for purchase as part of the OBU's month-long "Fanuary" fan-appreciation campaign.

- OBU was beaten 86-62 by visiting Henderson State Thursday night in Shawnee.
- OBU is 5-6 overall and 1-4 in the Great American Conference and in 11th place in the standings. The Bison are just one game back from joining a group of five teams tied for sixth at 2-3.
- Autumn Avina (24) and Victoria Blankenship (17) combined for 41 of the team's 62 points against Henderson State.
- OBU connecting on 22-of-58 shots for 37.9 percent from the field and were just three-of-18 for 16.7 percent from three-point distance.

- Oklahoma Baptist is averaging 73.6 points per game, ranking them fourth in the GAC. The Bison are 3-0 in games which they score 79 or more points.
- Avina is OBU's leading scorer averaging 18.8 points per game and ranks fourth in the conference. She has led the team in scoring five of the team's 10 games this year.
- Blankenship had 10 rebounds in the Henderson state loss. She has reached twin figures in rebounds and scoring three times this season against East Central and the last two outings against Central Christian and Henderson State.
- OBU is shooting 43.3 percent from the field good enough for fourth place in the GAC statistics. OBU is 3-1 when making better than 45 percent of its shots.

OUACHITA BAPTIST BY THE NUMBERS
- The Tigers enter at 4-7 overall and 2-3 in the GAC which places them in a five-way tie for sixth. Â
- Ouachita has lost three straight games, including a 74-55 loss at Southern Nazarene in its last game. Alvia Huell led the Tigers in scoring with 18 points, her third straight game as the team leader.
- Madison Brittain is the Tigers top long-distance shooting threat. She has made 20 three pointers in 11 games, with three in a loss to Arkansas Tech as her high output for the year.
Ouachita ranks 10
th in the GAC in scoring averaging 62 points per game. The Tigers have only scored more than 75 points one time this season, an 81-64 win against Central Baptist.
