SHAWNEE – January was heavy on hardwood action as the Bison and Lady Bison welcomed the new year with an extended home stand.
The Great American Conference race began in earnest as both teams hosted Henderson State and Ouachita to start the month. After a quick trip east on I-40 for a pair of games in Arkansas, OBU played four straight home contests, including thrillers against Southern Nazarene and UAM.
The Noble Complex was electric throughout the month as the Bison fight for the top spot in the GAC, while the OBU women look to secure a second straight berth in the conference tournament.
