SHAWNEE – Despite being inactive over the weekend, Oklahoma Baptist women's cross country enjoyed a modest rise in the latest edition of the USTFCCCA National Poll announced Wednesday afternoon. The Lady Bison rose one spot and into a tie at No. 20.
Â
Oklahoma Baptist received 41 points in the poll, tying the team with Azusa Pacific. The Lady Bison is the lone representative in the national rankings for the Great American Conference, as well as the only team in Oklahoma to feature in the poll. Through two races, OBU has yet to lose to a Division II opponent.
Â
The Lady Bison are off again this week, but return to action on Saturday, Oct. 6 when they host the OBU Invitational. It is the only chance for fans to catch OBU on their home course this year.
