Lady Bison Hold Steady in National Poll

SHAWNEE – There was no movement for Oklahoma Baptist women's cross country in the first edition of the USTFCCCA national poll released Wednesday afternoon. The Lady Bison held steady at No. 21.

Oklahoma Baptist has enjoyed a strong start to the season, claiming victory at the Central Oklahoma Land Run before finishing as the top Division II team last weekend at the Missouri Southern Stampede. The Lady Bison, who also moved up to No. 3 in the Central Region rankings released by USTFCCCA on Tuesday, are the only team ranked nationally in the Great American Conference, as well as the state of Oklahoma.

The Lady Bison are off for the next two weeks before returning to action for their only home meet of the season. The Oklahoma Baptist Invitational is set to take place on Saturday, Oct. 6.
