HOT SPRINGS, Ark. – (
Results) Oklahoma Baptist wrapped up the season Tuesday afternoon at the Great American Conference Men's Golf Championship, finishing in sixth place at Hot Springs Country Club.

The Bison shot 292 in round three to finish at 22-over 886 (299, 295, 292) as a team through three rounds at the Arlington Course. This marked the first GAC Championship that OBU was eligible to compete as a team since completing the transition to NCAA Division II.

Henderson State won the championship at one-under 863 (289, 285, 289), Arkansas Tech held on for second place with a total of 875 (293, 291, 291) and Southeastern Oklahoma State placed third at 877 (298, 295, 284). Southwestern Oklahoma State and Harding tied for fourth place at 884, Northwestern Oklahoma State (889) was seventh, Southern Arkansas (896) finished eighth, Arkansas-Monticello (911) placed ninth and Southern Nazarene (913) rounded out the field in 10
th place.

Senior
Dalton Rhoden finished in a tie for 13
th with a 220 (77, 69, 74) three-round total in his final tournament as a Bison.
Luke Garner did not compete this weekend but also wrapped up his playing career as a senior on Bison Hill.

Hudson Hoover tied for 22
nd place at 223 (73, 75, 75) after his second straight round of 75 Tuesday.
Payton Posada shot 224 (74, 76, 74) to tie for 24
th place and
Davis Farnell (82, 75, 70) and
Dakota Clark (75, 78, 74) each shot 227 to tie for 33
rd place in the final tournament of the year.
