Spring Game Kicks Off at 1 P.M. Saturday

SHAWNEE – Bison fans will get their first look at the 2018 OBU football squad Saturday as the team plays its annual Spring Game at 1 p.m. inside Crain Family Stadium at the Hurt Complex.

This year's game will feature an offense versus defense format, with point being awarded in a variety of categories on both sides.

"We are excited to see the culmination of all of the hard work put in since January," said OBU head coach Chris Jensen. "A day like Saturday gives the coaches an opportunity to evaluate the younger players in a game-like atmosphere. We are always looking for the players who will make plays on game day."

Gates open at noon, and admission is free. All seating will be general admission.

Campus parking lots will be open and free of charge to fans, with the Gold Lot (located directly south of the Hurt Complex) and Green Lot (east of the Noble Complex) offering the largest number of available spaces.

In conjunction with the game, a number of family-friendly events will be taking place before and during the Spring Game.

Spring Sale
For the second straight year, OBU Athletics will be holding a Spring Sale inside the lobby of the Recreation and Wellness Center, located just east of the stadium. The OBU Bookstore will have a large selection of clearance items, while several Bison and Lady Bison programs will be selling discounted team apparel, equipment and more. The Spring Sale will be open from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. in the RAWC lobby. Campus map (PDF)
