Bison Finish 14th at Las Vegas Desert Classic

LAS VEGAS – (Final Results) Oklahoma Baptist men's golf wrapped up the Las Vegas Desert Classic, hosted by University of Missouri-St. Louis, in 14^th place Tuesday at Royal Links Golf Club.
 
The Bison finished in 303 for the second straight day for a 920 (314, 303, 303) three-round total. West Florida dominated the field to win the team total at six-under 858 (297, 276, 285) and featured the individual winner in Chandler Blanchet at 16-under 200 (67, 65, 68).
 
Dalton Rhoden shot four-over 76 to end at 229 (80, 73, 76) in a tie for 41^st place. Payton Posada carded an even par 72 Tuesday, the low round of the tournament for the Bison, and totaled 230 (79, 79, 72) to finish tied for 46^th place.
 
Mason Nutt finished in 82 strokes in the final round and shot 233 (76, 75, 82) for the tournament. Freshman Dakota Clark finished strong with a 73, bringing his tournament score to 233 (81, 79, 73). Davis Farnell shot 83 to finish at 238 (79, 76, 83).
 
OBU will take next week off before returning to the course March 19 at the Broncho Invitational.
