SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist plays six home games and opens the season on a Thursday night, according to the
2018 football schedule released Monday.

The Bison open with a Thursday night trip to Ada to take on East Central at 7 p.m., Aug. 30.
OBU then is home for two games, taking on Southeastern Oklahoma State at 1 p.m., Sept. 8, and Arkansas Tech in the Hall of Fame Game at 1 p.m., Sept. 15.
The Bison make their first 2018 trip to Arkansas on Sept. 22, playing Harding in Searcy at 6 p.m. in the second of two night games on the schedule.
Southern Arkansas visits Shawnee on Sept. 29 for a 1 p.m. contest.
OBU then make successive trips to Arkansas, taking on Henderson State in Arkadelphia at 2 p.m., Oct. 6, and Arkansas-Monticello at 3 p.m., Oct. 13.
The Bison entertain Ouachita Baptist at 1 p.m., Oct. 20, at Crain Family Stadium at the Hurt Complex.
OBU's final road trip of the season happens Oct. 27 when the Bison visit Southwestern Oklahoma State in Weatherford at 2 p.m. OBU knocked off the Bulldogs 28-24 last season in Shawnee.
Northwestern comes to Bison Hill for OBU's Homecoming Game – a 2 p.m. start – on Nov. 3.
OBU closes the regular season at home against Southern Nazarene at 1 p.m., Nov. 10. The Bison scored a 34-28 win over the Crimson Storm last season in the GAC rivalry.
The Bison begin spring practice April 9 and play the annual Spring Game Saturday, May 5.
