SHAWNEE – Over half of OBU's student-athletes were named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll for the fall 2018 semester, with 317 earning the distinction.
To make the AD's Honor Roll, an individual must score at least a 3.0 grade point average. The average GPA for all student-athletes in the fall was 3.00, including 61 that earned a perfect 4.0 during the term.
Eight Lady Bison teams produced composite GPAs higher than 3.2, highlighted by the women's golf program with a 3.58 average.
The OBU baseball team had the highest GPA of all men's programs with a 3.21.
Overall, OBU's student-athletes achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.0, reaching that mark for the 14
th consecutive semester.
