Two Lady Bison Named All-Central Region

SHAWNEE – Following a pair of top 15 finishes at this past weekend's Central Region Championship in Joplin, Missouri, Sydney Lawrence and Kaylee Large Crowson have been named the USTFCCCA All-Central Region team.
 
Lawrence, a senior from Stilwell, Oklahoma, took home the award for the second straight year after finishing in a time of 21:43.00 on the six-kilometer Tom Rutledge Cross Country Course. Crowson, a senior hailing from Rush Springs and also an all-region honoree a season ago, completed the course in a time of 21:46.18.
 
Oklahoma Baptist led all Great American Conference schools with two all-region honorees.
 
The No. 15 Lady Bison find out tonight at 6 p.m. whether they have received an at-large bid to the NCAA National Championship Meet scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 3 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
