Haire Earns GAC Honor

SHAWNEE – The Great American Conference selected Oklahoma Baptist quarterback Preston Haire as its co-Offensive Player of the Week, it was announced Monday.
 
Haire, a red-shirt sophomore from Trophy Club, Texas, set school records with five touchdown passes and 476 yards for the Bison against No. 19 Southern Arkansas Saturday.
 
It is the second honor bestowed on a Bison by the GAC this season with Luke Wendl getting Special Teams Player of the Week in Week One. It is the first GAC award for Haire.
 
Haire shares this week's award with Jared Lancaster of Southern Arkansas.
