SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist starts the second half of the Great American Conference schedule Thursday at Southern Arkansas, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
 
Tasha Edge scored her 1,000th career point with her 28-point, 11-rebound performance in a 96-87 win over Southern Arkansas in November. McKenzie Cooper added 15, Autumn Avina 12, Lexi Williams 11 and Shaylan Coleman and Monae Smith 10 each. While there were 22 lead changes, OBU took over for good midway through the third period. Kimberly Crown had 24 and Olivia McWilliams 22 to lead the Muleriders.
 
Cooper leads the Lady Bison at 16.8 points per game while Edge contributes 15.5 points and a team-best 8.5 rebounds per game. Coleman averages 13.2 points and Williams 10.3. Avina leads the Lady Bison with 78 assists and 40 steals.
 
Southern Arkansas has lost three of its last four games and enters the fray at 4-13 overall and 3-8 in the GAC.
 
Sue Key leads SAU at 15.3 points per game, followed by Kimberly Crown at 13.3 and Olivia McWilliams at 11 points per game.
