Bison Take Eighth in Minnesota

LAKE CITY, Minn. – (Final Results) Oklahoma Baptist men's golf finished the J.R. Watkins Invitational, hosted by Winona State, tied for 8th place with a team total of 606 (300, 306).
 
Central Missouri, Arkansas Fort Smith, and Minnesota State Mankato were all tied for first place with 586. Arkansas Fort Smith was crowned winner in a sudden death playoff.
 
Payton Posada led OBU with 148 (76, 72) to tie for 16th. Next for the Bison was Davis Farnell, tied for 42nd with 153 (79, 74). Dalton Rhoden finished T49 with 154 (72, 82).
 
Tied for 57th was Mason Nutt with 155 (77,78). Hudson Hoover shot 161 (75, 86) for a T85 finish.
 
Dakota Clark, playing as an individual, turned in 157 (78, 79) to finish tied for 72nd.
 
The Bison will continue their season October 16th at the Midwestern State Invitational in Wichita Falls, Texas.
