SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist men's golf will travel to Lake City, Minnesota for their second tournament of the season Sept. 25-26. Winona State University will host the 36-hole JR Watkins Invitational at The Jewel Golf Club.
After having one week off to practice and prepare, the top six players will be competing to bring home a victory for the Bison.
In their previous 54-hole tournament, OBU placed fifth at the Great American Conference Preview at Lake Hefner North. The Bison were led by
Mason Nutt and
Davis Farnell with a 210 to tie for 12th.
Hudson Hoover and
Payton Posada tied for 18th with 212,
Dalton Rhoden finished tied for 20th at 213, and
Dakota Clark ended the tournament in 37th place with a total of 219.
Participants will play 18 holes Monday and finish on Tuesday with another round of 18.
