Coming Up on Bison Hill (May 8-14)

SHAWNEE – Regional and national titles are on the line for multiple Bison and Lady Bison teams this week. Here's what's coming up on Bison Hill.
 
Tuesday: Women's Tennis opens up the National Christian College Athletic Association National Championship with matches against Campbellsville at 8:30 a.m. and Emmanuel College (Ga.) at 2:30 p.m. in Mobile, Alabama. The Lady Bison finished as National Runners-up at last season's NCCAA National Championship. Men's Tennis also starts NCCAA National Championship play when they take on Warner (Fla.) at 8:30 a.m. and Dallas Baptist at 2:30 p.m. The Bison bowed out in the NCCAA National Semifinals last year, and will look for an improved run in 2017. Softball enters NCCAA postseason play for the first time when they host Ecclesia College at Lady Bison Park to determine the NCCAA Central Region crown. The series begins with a doubleheader at 4 p.m.
 
Wednesday: Women's Tennis wraps up pool play against Bethel College (Ind.) at 8:30 a.m. Men's Tennis concludes group play at the NCCAA National Championships at 8:30 a.m. when they square off with Cedarville.
 
Thursday: Men's and Women's Track and Field are set to defend their NCCAA titles on their home track when the NCCAA Outdoor National Championships comes to the Hurt Memorial Track for a three-day meet. Both the Bison and Lady Bison are looking for their fourth straight national championship in track and field after winning both the 2016 Indoor and Outdoor National Championships, as well as the 2017 Indoor National Championship earlier this year. Baseball begins their NCCAA Central Region title defense when they head to McPherson, Kansas. Challengers to the Bison have yet to be determined.
 
Friday: Men's and Women's Track and Field continue to compete at the NCCAA Outdoor National Championships. Baseball competes in the second day of the NCCAA Central Regional.
 
Saturday: The NCCAA Outdoor National Championships conclude for Men's and Women's Track and Field. Baseball enters the third day of games at the NCCAA Central Regional.
 
Sunday: Baseball concludes competition at the NCCAA Central Regional.
