Coming Up on Bison Hill (March 20-26)

SHAWNEE – With Spring Break in the rearview the Bison and Lady Bison are in full tilt heading into the end of March. Here's what's coming up this week on Bison Hill.
 
Monday: Men's and Women's Tennis host Northwest Missouri State at the OBU Tennis Courts, with both sets of matches starting at 2 p.m. It is the first time the teams have met on the court since Oklahoma Baptist began the transition to Division II.
 
Tuesday: Baseball welcomes Arkansas-Fort Smith to Bison Field at Ford Park for a single game at 5 p.m. The game between the Bison and Lions will be the first time in program history that the teams have met on the diamond.
 
Wednesday: Men's Tennis plays host to Southwestern Christian at 10 a.m. and Oklahoma Wesleyan at 3 p.m. Luis Romero didn't drop a game in singles or doubles play as the Bison swept both teams last season in Shawnee. Women's Lacrosse continues to look for their first Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference triumph when they welcome Colorado State – Pueblo to the OBU Lacrosse Complex at 4 p.m. The Lady Bison will be looking to even the series with the ThunderWolves after falling on the road last year.
 
Friday: Softball hosts Arkansas Tech in conference action with a twin bill slated to begin at 4 p.m. at Lady Bison Park. Oklahoma Baptist and the Golden Suns split a shortened series in Russellville, Arkansas, in 2016. Baseball travels to Russellville to kick off a three-game series against the Wonder Boys at 7 p.m. The Bison claimed the series sweep over ATU last year in Shawnee.
 
Saturday: Men's and Women's Track and Field hosts the Oklahoma Baptist Invitational at the Hurt Memorial Track. A combined 43 Bison and Lady Bison qualified for the National Christian College Athletic Association National Championship at the same meet last season. Men's and Women's Tennis take on Midwestern State at the OBU Tennis Courts starting at 10 a.m. It will mark the first meeting between the two teams since Oklahoma Baptist began the transition to Division II. Baseball wraps up its road series against Arkansas Tech with a doubleheader scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. Softball concludes its home series with ATU with a second doubleheader starting at 1 p.m. Women's Lacrosse faces Adams State at the OBU Lacrosse Complex at 4 p.m. It is the first time the two RMAC opponents will meet in program history.
